Grab your Passport and pack your bags as we are heading to another one of our most requested tour destinations: Canada featuring the Calgary Stampede and the Canadian Rocky Mountains!  You will be in awe of the warmth of the Canadian people, the breath-taking natural beauty of the Canadian Rocky Mountains and the many unique experiences we have searched to find for you.

This tour is filled with many experiences you will not find in any other tour itinerary.   Another Montam Tours Brand-New Exclusive tour and the only time this tour will be offered-Ever!

Day One: Wednesday, July 9, 2025:  Sit back, relax and enjoy our travel day north through North Dakota to the border and on to Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada for our first overnight at the beautiful Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott. How many providences do you think we will visit on our journey? First up: Saskatchewan! Bus breakfast included.  Lunch and dinner on own enroute.

Day Two: Thursday, July 10, 2025:  We begin our Canadian visit with a truly unique experience: the Royal Mounted Police Academy Heritage Center and training depot.  The RCMP have been part of Canada's Confederation since 1867 and we will visit the Heritage Centre, home to their story.  Explore over a century of history and discover rare artifacts exclusively here, including an original 1873 uniform.  Told through informative exhibits and a driving simulator, you will be transported thru the "March of the Mounties" and its evolution from a frontier police service to what it is today.  Since 1885, every RCMP officer has gone through Depot training and we will experience a behind-the-scenes look at training, featuring special access to observe the daily Sergeant Major's Parade on the historic parade square.  Our hour-long, guided tram tour will stop at the historic Chapel, the oldest building in Regina, The Cenotaph and the eternal flame, learn about the town of Buffalo and lastly observe cavalry drills by Cadets in training.  After learning about the RCMP, we will travel through Medicine Hat to Calgary for our overnight at the Residence Inn by Marriott, Calgary South, our home for the next 2 nights in Calgary.  We have arrived in the providence of Alberta, our 2nd Providence. Hotel breakfast buffet and bus box lunch included.  Dinner on own at Medicine Hat Mall, Medicine Hat, Alberta.

Day Three: Friday, July 11, 2025:  It's Friday and what a Friday we have in store for you at The Greatest Show on Earth: The Calgary Stampede! Today is all about visiting an authentic Alberta experience.  The Midway, the live music, the Stampede Showband, the Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede dancers, the Dog Bowl, the shopping and let's not forget about all the food from fair standards to really unique foods, this day definitely has it all!  It all comes down to skill of the cowboys and the quality of the stock at the afternoon rodeo and the CS evening show double-header.  Witness the Cowboys Rangeland Derby Chuckwagon races and then the fan-favorite Relay Races followed by the Indigenous Relay Racing teams.  Did your favorite cowboy, cowgirl or team win their events?  The evening will conclude with the Grandstand show that will blow you away with elaborate song and dance numbers, acrobatics and wraps up with a spectacular fireworks finale! You will be treated to the Thrill Package which includes best rodeo and grandstand show seating, Round-trip WestJet Ride over the Stampede Grounds, souvenir program & tote bag and a CS cowboy hat of your very own!  Be prepared to stay out past your bedtime but it will be worth it. Hotel breakfast buffet included.  Lunch and dinner on own at the Calgary Stampede.

Day Four: Saturday, July 12, 2025: Since we kept you out late last night, sleeping in a bit will be on the itinerary but there's so much more to do!  It's time to bid Calgary a "see you later" and visit CrossIron Mills shopping mall for lunch on your own and some bargain hunting rolled into one.  We will then depart for the Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary for a rare visit with these beautiful animals. Our tour takes us inside an enclosure with a large viewing platform accompanied by one of the guides.  Enjoy the opportunity to learn about the sanctuary (not a zoo but they live out their lives being well taken care of), and an introduction to what wolfdogs are all about.  The Sanctuary currently has 55+ permanent wolfdogs, which includes 10 ambassador wolfdogs who take part in visits.  The Wolfdog content level refers to how much wolf content each animal has in them.  Wolfdogs are very different than a house dog and strict rules for visiting must be followed.
You will fall in love with these unique animals and come away with a new found appreciation for them.  A self-guided Sanctuary Walk and gift shop time included.

Town of Banff, Alberta, Canada here we come!  Banff is a resort town in the Banff National Park, located in Alberta's Rockies along the Trans-Canada Highway.  You must be employed or own a business located within Banff National Park in order to live in the town of Banff, but we are lucky to be able to spend a few glorious days visiting. The town is surrounded by mountains, notably Mount Rundle, Sulphur Mountain, Mount Norquay and Cascade Mountain and is situated above Bow Falls.  Stand on Banff Ave and you will soak in the beauty of the mountains, looming in the distance.   Tonight, we will discover the beauty of six mountains ranges from the panoramic observation deck of the Banff Gondola and watch the clouds roll by.  Hike along the Sulphur Mountains Boardwalk for beautiful views of the town of Banff below.  We will savor our dinner buffet at the Northern Lights Alpine Kitchen, only reachable by riding in a gondola car to the top.  Beauty surrounds you everywhere you look.  Overnight accommodations at the Elk + Avenue Hotel, located one block from Banff Avenue for three nights!  Most tour companies do not stay one night in Banff and we have included three nights here to allow you to enjoy this adorable town.  Hotel breakfast and Northern Lights Alpine Kitchen dinner included.  Lunch on own at CrossIron Mills Mall, Calgary.

Day Five: Sunday, July 13, 2025:  It's Sunday morning and have we got a treat for you as we enjoy Open Top touring in custom-made, open-topped automobiles that were inspired by local tours from the 1930's.  Extraordinary views, epic photo-ops and Banff's best stories will be shared with you on our private excursion via three touring cars.  Upon our return to Banff, you will have the remainder of the day to simply enjoy Banff and all it has to offer.  Our hotel location will have you in the heart of the action to allow you to shop, dine, find your favorite ice cream shop, try a Beavertail Pastry, stroll along the Bow River or simply savor the view.  It's your day to do as you wish!  Hotel breakfast included.  Lunch and dinner on own in Banff.

Day Six: Monday, July 14, 2025:  What a special Monday we have planned for you!  Tito and company will provide us private, mini-coach transportation with a maximum of 14 passengers each as we visit FOUR of the iconic lakes located in the Canadian Rockies!  Our visits will take us to Emerald Lake, Peyto Lake, Lake Louise and Moraine Lake.  Emerald Lake is located in Yoho National Park and is one of the finest lakes in the Canadian Rockies found in British Columbia, which is our 3rd Providence.  It's the largest lake in Yoho National Park, one of the most stunning lakes and surrounded by President Mountain Range.  Peyto Lake is located within Banff National Park and the viewpoint is an easy hike via a paved hiking trail to view the unique lake from an observation deck.  Can you see the animal this lake is in the shape of?  Famous Lake Louise has drawn visitors to the Canadian Rockies for over a century.  The alpine lake in Banff National Park is a wild turquoise blue color fed by glacier melt and set by a backdrop of Mt. Victoria and draws in millions of visitors each year.  We will enjoy an included lunch at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise before departing for Moraine Lake, our final lake visit today.  Moraine Lake is a stunning turquoise gem, cradled by the Valley of the Ten Peaks and is a sight straight out of a dream.  Take in the iconic views from the lakeshore or for the adventurous, climb the Rockpile trail to get breathe taking views of this beautiful lake. All along the way, Tito and his co-workers will share history, interesting facts and their passion of this breathtaking area.  Around every corner in the road, you will witness the beauty of God's handiwork. Back for our last evening in Banff, you will be free to enjoy as you wish as you reflect on all the beauty you have witnessed today.  What a day to remember!  Photos won't do it justice but will be a beautiful reminder of what your soul experienced.  Hotel breakfast and Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise Lunch included.  Dinner on own in Banff.

Day Seven: Tuesday, July 15, 2025:  Tuesday morning is our time to say good by to Banff and head along the Columbia Icefields Parkway to our first experience of the day, the Columbia Icefield Glacier Adventure Ice Explorer and Columbia Icefield Skywalk.  To say this is an adventure of a lifetime, is an understatement!  As you roll across the Athabasca Glacier in a massive Ice Explorer, your guide tells stories from the glacier's past.  As soon you step onto the ancient ice, you will be in awe of it's size and beauty.  Be sure to get some glacier ice water to take with you.  We guarantee it will be the freshest and coldest water you have ever had!  When is the last time you came face to face with an ancient Glacier?  Definitely an experience you will remember forever.  It's then time to shuttle to the Glacier Skywalk.  Lined with exhibits, the Skywalk features a glass-floored viewing platform and unparalleled views of mountains, glaciers and the Sunwapta Valley.  By now you have worked up an appetite, so we will enjoy an included lunch buffet at the Altitude Restaurant before we continue up the Icefields Parkway to the Athabasca Falls for free time to explore and simply take in the beauty of these easily accessible falls.  Although it's not the tallest or widest waterfall in the area, Athabasca Falls in Jasper National Park is among the most powerful waterfalls in Alberta.  Athabasca Falls is situated on the mighty Upper Athabasca River and was created when the Athabasca Valley Glacier retreated.  The large amount of water you see flowing today flows from the glacier found in the Columbia Icefield.  This area experienced some damage from last year's wild fires but the falls were easily accessible and are open, so we will visit.

We will check into our home for the night, The Crimson in Jasper before we enjoy a private performance of "From Jasper with Love", followed by a private group dinner at the Olive Bistro.  What a fun way to end our day.
Hotel breakfast, lunch buffet at the Altitude Restaurant and dinner at the Olive Bistro included.

Day Eight: Wednesday, July 16, 2025: This morning, we will depart Jasper and discover Maligne Lake's famous turquoise blue waters and nearby peaks on our Maligne Lake cruise.  Our expert guide will share stories of history and adventure and we will be treated to a serene visit to view picturesque Spirit Island before we return to Jasper to allow you to enjoy lunch on your own and shop if desired.

Later this afternoon, we will travel to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and our home for the next two nights at the Four Points by Sheraton Edmonton West.  Hotel breakfast buffet included.  Lunch and dinner on own.

Day Nine: Thursday, July 17, 2025:  Who is ready to make some memories at the West Edmonton Mall?  We are that's who!  West Ed Mall is owned by the same company that owns Mall of America. The world's largest shopping and entertainment complex, with a roller coaster, tropical rainforest, bowling alley, hockey rink, Sea Lion show, mini-golf, and more activities along with over 800 stores and 20 restaurants.  We'll get our steps in today or not.  The choice is all yours!  There is so much to see, do and observe. Hotel breakfast buffet included.  Lunch and dinner on own at West Edmonton Mall.

Day Ten: Friday, July 18,2025:  It's time to start working our way towards home but we aren't done with the fun yet!  Late this morning, we will visit the world famous Royal Tyrrell Museum.  Set in the rugged Alberta Badlands, the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology displays one of the world's largest collections of dinosaurs.  Truly jaw dropping to stand beside these giants that have been uncovered in this area.  Grab lunch on your own in the Museum Cafeteria and visit the gift shop to make your visit complete.  We will drive by the Drumheller HooDoo's before heading back to Calgary for the evening.  The Drumheller Hoodoos are peculiar mounds of sandstone that stand many meters tall.  They have weathered down to their iconic tabletop shape after millions of years of powerful wind exposure and erosion from freezing and thawing every winter and spring.

Our overnight accommodations in Calgary are at the Delta by Marriott Downtown Calgary.  Tonight, we will savor an included dinner at Sky 360, Calgary's own revolving restaurant on top of the Calgary Tower.  Sky 360 offers more than just magnificent views of the city of Calgary and the Rocky Mountains, it also offers unforgettable food and an experience to be remembered.  Hotel breakfast and Sky 360 dinner included.  Lunch on own at Royal Tyrrell Museum.

Day Eleven: Saturday, July 19, 2025:  Before we depart Calgary for the final time, we will enjoy a guided factory tour of Alberta Boot Company to learn all about boot making.  Ever wonder what goes into making a pair of boots?  We are about to find out.  At Alberta Boots, they are dedicated to honoring the legacy of cowboy culture and the craftsmanship behind exceptional cowboy boots.  Established in 1978, the ABCO takes pride in assembling boots from start to finish and we will get a rare glimpse into that process.  It's now time to head to Medicine Hat for a break before arriving at the Holiday Inn Express in Moose Jaw, Alberta, Canada for our final overnight.  Hotel breakfast buffet included.  Lunch and dinner on own enroute.

Day Twelve: Sunday, July 20, 2025:  We will depart Moose Jaw this morning and return back home the same way we came up all these days ago.  Oh Canada, you will always have a special place in our hearts for your hospitality, warmth of your people and your breath-taking scenery!  Hotel breakfast buffet included.  Lunch and dinner on own.
