Who is ready for a fun double theatre weekend in the Twin Cities
March 2-3, 2024! This tour is limited to only 32 passengers due to
the popularity of these shows. We take what we can get!
We'll enjoy an evening at the always wonderful Chanhassen Dinner Theatre as they share Beautiful: The Carole King Story! The soundtrack of a generation inspired this Broadway Smash hit! For six years, Beautiful: The Carole King musical thrilled with the inspiring true story of Carole King’s remarkable journey from teenage songwriter to Rock & Rock Hall of Fame music legend. As a woman in the music industry, King broke barriers and become one of the most prolific songwriters of our time! Carole wrote hits for the biggest acts from the Shirelles to The Righteous Brothers-then recorded her Grammy-winning masterpiece, TAPESTRY. This musical takes you on a joy-filled, emotional ride of a lifetime. Featuring over two dozen hits including “One Fine Day,” “the Locomotion,” “So Far Away,” “Natural Woman,” “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin,” and “Will You Love Me Tomorrow,” this musical is filled with songs you remember and a story you’ll never forget! A huge cast of singers and dancers bring more than 24 of her greatest hits to life in a triumphant celebration! Suitable for age 11 and older.
We will enjoy our order tableside dinner prior to the show.
Sunday, we will begin our day with a bit of shopping time at one of our travel families’ favorite stops, Westridge Market to enjoy Trader Joe's & Michael's Crafts. We are in for a special treat for our Sunday afternoon event at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Minneapolis for Clue the Musical. Murder and blackmail are on the menu when six mysterious guests assemble at Boddy Manor for a night they’ll never forget! Was it Mrs. Peacock in the study with the knife? Or was it Colonel Mustard in the library with the wrench? Based on the cult 1985 Paramount movie and inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is the ultimate whodunit that will leave you dying of laughter and keep you guessing until the final twist.
“A very fun whodunit that strikes contemporary parallels on the way to its grand reveal.” – The New York Times
